To celebrate the launch of Voluspa's newest eau de parfum, we did what felt most natural: we brought our community in. At Fashion Island in Newport Beach, Voluspa hosted a sold-out community masterclass at our flagship store and a co-branded fragrance experience with Anthropologie. Same warm floral perfume at the heart of it all, two very good reasons to gather.
Fashion Island was the only place this could have happened. Newport Beach's open-air hub has the kind of unhurried, design-forward energy that makes a fragrance masterclass feel like the obvious way to spend your time.
On Friday, May 29th, ten Voluspa loyalists gathered at our Fashion Island flagship for a two-hour morning built around the things we love most: fragrance, creativity, and genuine connection. The fragrance masterclass kicked things off, with the Voluspa team walking guests through scent composition, layering technique, and the story behind Petal & Pair. Light bites and refreshments set the mood. Good conversation did the rest.
Then came the block printing workshop, where things got beautifully hands-on. Guests printed their own custom tote bags using romantic floral motifs pulled straight from the Petal & Pair collection. Guests left with a tote they were genuinely proud of, a deeper appreciation for warm floral perfume, and the quiet satisfaction of a morning well spent.
If the masterclass was an intimate gathering of Voluspa insiders, the Voluspa x Anthropologie event opened the circle a little wider.
Voluspa and Anthropologie have always spoken the same creative language: artistry, craftsmanship, and a shared belief that beautiful things make everyday life richer. Bringing Petal & Pair into the Anthropologie location at Fashion Island felt less like a collaboration and more like two communities being introduced to each other.
Guests joined for a guided fragrance masterclass introducing Petal & Pair, followed by a lino stamp carving workshop where everyone carved their own stamp inspired by the collection's botanical imagery. Pear-infused refreshments kept the energy warm and welcoming. Styled tablescapes gave the room an ambiance that felt personal and considered. Everyone went home with an Eau De Parfum Discovery Kit, a printed keepsake, and that particular glow you get from an afternoon that delivered more than expected.
Petal & Pair Eau De Parfum is a warm floral with a gourmand character that feels effortlessly wearable. It opens with sweet pear, moves into a heart of jasmine petals, and settles into a base of cocoa powder that lingers in the best possible way.
